The Work Channel Road
The Work Channel Road entrance can be found off Highway 16, East of Prince Rupert. Travelling westbound: after passing the Basalt Creek Rest Area & Khyex River, the Work Channel Road entrance will be on your right. Travel time on the dirt road is approximately 1 hour. This road is not maintained and prone to slides, use at your own risk. For easiest launch, it is recommended to go at low tide. This route stays in the protective inlet allowing more shelter from harsh weather patterns. We are located at the top right of the inlet on Hogan Island, near the mouth of the Work Channel. Prince Rupert
The main boat launch in Prince Rupert is Rushbrook Harbour. The route from Prince Rupert to Victory Cove is an hour and a half by boat. Since this route goes through open water it is subject to more extreme weather patterns. This route is more advanced and not recommended to those without prior experience.
